About
I am Dr. Vinothkumar Venkatachalam, currently working as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Soonchunhyang University, South Korea. I also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate from April 2022 to August 2023. I successfully completed a doctorate (Ph.D.) in the topic of “Facile Design of Binary Metal Oxides for Selective Electrochemical Sensing of Antipsychotic Drugs” at the National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan, under the guidance of Lifetime Distinguished Professor Shen-Ming Chen.

My doctoral research focused on discovering potential multifunctional nanostructured materials, the environmentally friendly synthesis of various materials, and their composites for high-performance electrochemical sensors and supercapacitors. I am currently working on developing multinary metal composition nanomaterials for electrochemical sensors and energy storage applications. For further details please visit my CV.
